Lindsay Spellman was born in Vancouver, Canada and spent her childhood in Hope, BC. She completed her BA in Art and Design, where she focused on painting, drawing, and creative writing. She then began her art career in Vancouver and was a member of Thrive Art Studio for several years. Lindsay’s work is inspired by nature, spirituality, and storytelling. Her recent paintings exhibit local mountain landscapes in acrylic paint, and in 2021 she completed her first set of landscape murals inside Mountainview Brewing Co. in Hope, BC. Currently, she has self-published her second book of poetry, As the Sun Touches Everything (after a successful Kickstarter campaign), following her first release, The Art of Letting Go.

Lindsay currently lives in New Mexico with her husband Hank, and their husky, Nuka. Recently, she has showcased her work in a solo exhibition at Zendo, volunteered with the New Mexico Art League, and is a member of the Rio Grande Art Association.

She continues to explore and capture the colors and shadows of the mountain valleys in the US and Canada.
