Mural @ Mountainview Brewing Co.
This week I’ve had the privilege of adding a mural onto the walls of Mountainview Brewing Co. in Hope B.C. ! This is a very fun project because Hope is where I grew up, and to paint the mountains that surround it is super special. I’ve designed it to be in a grayscale format to match their black, white, and red aesthetic! They’ve also been very kind to let me put up a couple paintings for sale on their Merch shelf by the door: my new series titled “Wonder: Moments of Eternity”.
I wanted to work on a new series of paintings with people in them; an exaggerated perspective to make the mountains feel larger than life, those moments where we gain perspective on how small we are in the world, and the moments of stillness when we can’t look away. A deeper look into why I love mountains and how I feel when I paint them.
