Surrender

Surrender

I'm beginning now
To see all that You see,
Not blind to colour
But with new eyes
Each glance reveals
A discovery, overwhelming
Of what has been there
Waiting for me
And surrender looks like
Playing, once again
Swinging on swings
A trust
I could not understand.
Can I take risks
Freely
And believe
you will catch me?

A warm touch
Of the sun
Says 'Yes'.

All I need

All I need is

A little bit of you

Wrapped around me

Telling me

It’s gonna be alright.

A bit of your laughter

When it’s all bursting out

Imploding in, and all around.

It’s a quiet, anxious rage

This restless heart inside.

Nothing’s easy, nothing’s free

But your love, my Love,

For now.

All I need is

Your voice

On the other side

Of the phone.
